Kristina Höök
Kristina Höök is a full Professor in Interaction Design at Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm Sweden. Höök is a frequent keynote speaker, known for her work on social navigation, seamfulness, mobile services, affective interaction and lately, designing for bodily engagement in interaction through somaesthetics. Her competence lies mainly in interaction design and user studies helping to form design. Höök has obtained numerous national and international grants, awards, and fellowships including the Cor Baayen Fellowship by ERCIM (European Research Consortium for Informatics and Mathematics) for her thesis work in 1997, the INGVAR award from the Strategic Research Foundation (SSF) in 2004, she is an ACM Distinguished Scientist since 2014, and she is an ACM distinguished speaker.
Maaike Bleeker
Maaike Bleeker is a professor in the department of Media & Culture Studies at Utrecht University. She combines approaches from the arts, dance and performance with insights from philosophy, media theory and cognitive science. She was partner in the Inside Movement Knowledge project and participated in the Dance Engaging Science working group of the Motion Bank. She is partner in the project Performative Body Mapping (funded by the ARC) and project leader of Acting Like a Robot: Theatre as Testbed for the Robot Revolution (funded by the Dutch Organization for Scientific Research). She served as President of Performance Studies international (PSi, 2011-16). Her monograph Visuality in the Theatre was published by Palgrave (2008). She (co) edited several volumes including Anatomy Live. Performance and the Operating Theatre (2008) Performance & Phenomenology. (Routledge 2015), Transmission in Motion. The Technologizing of Dance (Routledge, 2016) and Thinking Through Theatre and Performance (Bloomsbury 2019).
Sylvain Moreno
Sylvain Moreno, PhD, Director of the Digital Health Hub and Associate Professor at the School of Interactive Arts and Technology. Dr. Moreno is a specialist in neuroscientific technologies related to digital media, rehabilitation and brain fitness solutions. Dr. Moreno has been a member of the New York Academy of Science since 2006. He is the Head of Innovation for the Neurodevnet NCE and part of the AGE-WELL NCE’s innovation team. He has been the recipient of many awards from national and international organizations such as the Early Researcher Award from The Ontario Ministry of Economic Development and Innovation (2014). His work has received widespread press in various media outlets including the The New York Times and Forbes. He has authored several scientific publications and patents with real-world impacts in clinical and educational environments.
